Lead Games Design Tutor Up to £42,000 (depending on qualifications and experience) Full Time (35 hours per week) + 35 days holiday plus bank holidays

As Lead Games Design Tutor, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of exciting and engaging lessons to learners, supporting them in their journey towards progression. You will record and track learner progress, use a range of assessment methods, and provide feedback to continuously inspire learners to achieve. You will be knowledgeable about Games Design Curriculums and courses, as well as experienced in teaching 16+ students. This is a full-time (5 days) centre-based role in Walthamstow. There is also the unique opportunity for the right candidate with experience in games design who may be interested in moving into a teaching role, as full training can be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons to learners (relating to their needs and interests) Monitor learners' progression Complete learner 1-1s and individual learning plans and provide feedback Ensure stable learner retention and qualification achievement rates Support learners in preparing for assessment projects Promote safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding Essential Criteria

Hold a relevant qualification within Games Design Experienced in teaching with an understanding of the Ofsted Framework Experience with Adobe Photoshop/After Effects/Premiere modelling, concept art/textures Experience of working professionally in a relevant creative industry Experienced with Autodesk Maya/Blender - animating, skinning, rigging, texturing, 3D modelling Experience with Unity/Unreal Engine - animation-to-engine pipelines Highly motivated with excellent communication skills Confident in Learning Environment Management Extremely organised and able to manage your own workload effectively and flexibly Hold a Teaching Qualification preferred Hold Maths & English Level 2
