Garnock Valley Locality Partnership Working Group Member We are looking for people to join and attend meetings of one of the following Garnock Valley Working Groups. Meetings are currently held monthly in the evenings.
Facilities & Amenities Working Group. This group meets in person on the first Wednesday in the month at 6.30pm in the Bridgend Community Centre, Kilbirnie.
Moving Around Working Group (Public Transport, Traffic and Parking). This group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7pm online via Teams.
Work and the Local Community Working Group. This group meets on the third Thursday of the month at 6pm online via Teams.
If you wish, you may choose to join more than one of the working groups. All volunteers must live, work, or have an interest in the Garnock Valley. Volunteers can choose to attend the groups for as long or as short a time as they choose. For example, a volunteer may choose to attend a group over a number of months as a topic of their particular interest is discussed.
Experience Required An interest in issues affecting the Garnock Valley.
Restrictions Must live in the Garnock Valley.
Volunteers (aged 12-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
