My client is looking to recruit a permanent Gas Engineer to join their business.
Working hours are 8am to 4.30pm (8 hours) but may change due to customer requirements. Working area: whole of the West Midlands, but mainly Birmingham, Coventry, and Wolverhampton.
You must have the following:
Own van and tools (we will provide specialist tools such as pipe crimper and meggar). SHEA gas is required, but my client will put you through this qualification. Minimum MET1, CCN1 (or equivalent) is required.
Role:
Working on flats mainly 3 storeys but can be up to 12 storeys, installing gas pipe in threaded galv pipe or stainless steel press fit on the outside of the wall. Erecting and working on portable scaffold towers or cherry pickers. Completing copper alterations from existing meter point to the new point of entry location, running and testing earth bonding. Completing purge and relights after mains pipe has been commissioned.
