They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic gas engineer to cover the County Durham and Teesside areas carrying out servicing and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract.
Duties:
Annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR) Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems. Ensuring a high level of customer care is met on a day-to-day basis. Following all Health & Safety requirements and legislation including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records. Requirements:
Gas qualifications held for a minimum of 2 years. Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills. In-date ACS qualifications including CKR1 & HTR1. Full UK Driving Licence. No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment). Salary & Package:
42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Overtime paid at time and a half door to door. Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates. Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided. Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum. Monthly bonus up to £200.00. Out of hours call out rota 1 week in 4 paid at £400.00 in summer and £600 in winter plus price per job.
