Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well–established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.
They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic gas engineer to cover the Hastings area carrying out maintenance and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local housing association contract.
Duties:
Annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
Ensuring a high level of customer care is met on a day–to–day basis.
Following all Health & Safety requirements and legislation including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records
Requirements:
Gas qualifications held for a minimum of 2 years.
Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances as well as strong fault–finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
In–date ACS qualifications including CKR1 & HTR1
Full UK Driving Licence
No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)
Salary & Package:
42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Overtime paid at time and a half door to door
Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates
Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
Salary: 38,000 – 40,000 per annum
Monthly bonus up to 200.00
Out of hours call out rota 1 week in 4 paid at 400.00 plus price per job
OTE 45,000+ per annum
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
