We are looking for an experienced and skilled

Service and Breakdown Gas Engineer

to join a dynamic team at a leading plumbing and heating services provider based in Devon. This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of domestic gas appliances and heating systems. You’ll ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, while delivering exceptional customer service. Ideally, candidates will be based in

Exeter, Honiton, Taunton, Axminster , or the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on domestic gas appliances and heating systems Diagnose and resolve faults, offering quick and effective solutions Conduct safety checks, ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards Keep accurate records of all work completed, including parts used and tasks carried out Communicate clearly with customers about required and completed work Attend emergency call-outs and breakdowns when necessary Maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude at all times Requirements: Relevant plumbing qualifications Gas certifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, HTR1, CKR1 Unvented UHW Proven experience in a similar role Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to work independently and within a team A valid driving license Flexible with working hours and willing to participate in an on-call rota Benefits: Competitive salary (based on experience) Company vehicle and fuel card provided Uniform supplied Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Pension scheme Paid holidays Supportive and friendly work environment How to Apply: If you’re a motivated and professional Gas Engineer seeking a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
