Our client, a leading Global Facilities Management company, has recently secured a major contract with a national Blue-Chip retailer. They are seeking an experienced
Commercial Gas Engineer
to cover sites across Bedfordshire and surrounding areas, including Luton, Dunstable, Milton Keynes, Stevenage, St Albans, and more. Key Responsibilities:
Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive HVAC maintenance across small to large sites. Serve as the first line of maintenance support at all allocated sites. Ensure all technical and compliance paperwork is accurately completed and up to date. Maintain and repair mechanical equipment such as fans, pumps, and compressors to high standards. Adhere to safe working practices with three-phase and single-phase electrical systems. Identify faults in plant and machinery, reporting non-repairable issues to the HVAC Supervisor. Conduct surveys and complete reports as required by management. Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Commercial and Industrial Gas or Building Services / Heat & Ventilation. City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category qualification. Strong experience in maintaining and servicing heating systems across multiple sites. A customer-focused attitude, able to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Experience working in a multi-site environment and dealing with on-site management. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. A hands-on, can-do attitude with flexibility in your approach to work.
