We complete all plumbing, heating, and gas services for domestic properties including power flushing, boiler services, warm air units, HIU units, drainage, landlord gas safety certificates and all general plumbing maintenance and heating.
We are looking for a qualified plumbing, heating and gas engineer to join our busy team. We are looking for a very competent, experienced engineer who can get stuck in immediately with no support needed. There is also potential for working overtime. We are a small but very busy company, our aim is to continue to provide all of our clients with the highest standards of work to continue being recommended and providing first class customer service.
Job Description:
As a Certified Gas Engineer at J Ford Heating & Plumbing, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that ensure the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems. You will also need to be able to turn your hand to plumbing tasks including hot and cold installations and will need to be organized, proactive, and committed to delivering top-notch customer service. Daily Duties – Plumbing, heating and gas engineer Boiler installations Boiler servicing / maintenance Boiler fault finding and repair General plumbing and heating maintenance Required experience/skills: Must be a certified Gas Engineer and carry G3 Certificate. Strong English communication and customer service skills. Positive, can do attitude Professional, punctual and presentable Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in tight schedules. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in gas plumbing & heating. Proficiency with mobile job management apps is a plus. Minimum of 10 years working as a Gas & Heating Engineer. Have a complete tool kit. Full Driving Licence. Benefits: Competitive salary. Supportive team environment. Company provides a DBS Check. 28 days holidays including Bank Holidays. Pension Scheme.
