A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY
You will be working within a multi-disciplined team, to maintain the test facilities and be responsible for the installation, testing and post test activities associated with SGT products. The Mechanical Fitting role can see you operating in the Production, Development and Supply Chain areas of the business and therefore you may be operating out of the different sites within Siemens-Energy Lincoln.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Performing Mechanical Fitting activities to exacting standards with detailed documentation.
- Ensuring that the highest level of Health and Safety is observed and followed, working to the Zero Harm principles.
- Contributing to the Production, Development and other departmental activities as required.
- Contributing to business improvements.
- Maintaining and improving the working environment.
- Working shift patterns as required to meet programme demands.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Apprentice trained mechanical qualification to level 3 or equivalent.
- Passion for working in a highly skilled and dynamic environment.
- Ability to work under pressure individually and be a team player.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A responsive attitude in a customer driven environment.
