We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated

Gate & Barrier Engineer

to join my client's team, working throughout the West Yorkshire area. This role is ideal for someone with experience in fitting, repairing, and maintaining sliding gates and barriers. As part of our team, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of gate and barrier systems for a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain sliding gates and barriers across various sites. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, providing efficient solutions. Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Provide excellent customer service by delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining strong client relationships. Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and project requirements. Agree to assist on callouts on an ad-hoc basis, with no fixed standby rota.

Essential Requirements:

Experience in fitting, repairing, and maintaining sliding gates and barriers. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Full UK driving license and the ability to travel across West Yorkshire. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

Previous experience in the automation of gates and barriers. Industry-related qualifications or certifications.
