About the role The Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) is responsible for transforming Greater Cambridge through a City Deal aimed at unlocking the economic growth potential of the area over the coming decades and realising thousands of new jobs and homes. The development and delivery of major transport infrastructure is vital to the future economic wellbeing of Greater Cambridge. The GCP Transport programme is a cornerstone of the City Deal initiative and aims to develop a sustainable transport network for Greater Cambridge that keeps people, business and ideas connected as the area continues to grow. What will you be doing? As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be working on one or more of our exciting projects such as Cambourne to Cambridge, the Greater Cambridge Greenways or the City Access Programme. You will be working with a team of experienced project managers from varying backgrounds coming together to deliver key infrastructure projects for the Greater Cambridge area. This is an exciting environment where you will be encouraged to work independently and develop your skills and experience. The postholder requires knowledge, understanding and experience of project management, procurement and contract management.
