About the Role Working to engineering drawings, you’ll be responsible for assembling gearboxes and other transmission related products as we prepare for test and delivery. Day to Day Assembly of High Performance Automotive gearboxes and transmission related assemblies. Rebuild, repairs and servicing of gearboxes and transmission related products. Working effectively with associated teams to ensure a robust assembly process. Using IT to create build documentation and extraction of knowledge. Daily equipment checks and routine maintenance tasks. Adhering to Health and Safety regulations. Carrying out any additional duties as requested by management.

You will work alongside business managers, Manufacturing managers as well as production and design engineers to ensure a smooth build of the product and that it is built to the correct specification within appropriate timeframes. About You Engineering, Automotive or Garage background. Hands-on experience in a similar build role. Educated to apprenticeship level or basic engineering training. Ability to learn new skills and enjoys problem solving. Dexterity- working with small parts / finishing guns. Ability to work under pressure whilst adhering to tight deadlines. Basic PC Skills Ability to work as part of a small team.

Special Requirements Flexibility around jobs given and hours worked (overtime/evenings/weekends). Environment can be noisy / dusty / exposure to aqueous based products. High level of concentration and detail-oriented manner due to the repetitive nature of the work / high volumes.
