to work for a
private service based in Southampton. Position:
General Adult Specialty Doctor Hours:
Full time – 5 days per week (37.5 hours) Setting:
17 acute beds Location:
Southampton Responsibilities: Routine psychiatric care and management planning for inpatients Joining daily morning handover meetings, MDT reviews, and CPA meetings Working in collaboration with MDT to monitor day-to-day progress and evaluation of treatment plans as needed Completion of risk assessments and liaison with families and community services as required Ensure MDT completion of agreed treatment plans Completion of discharge summaries within 7 days of discharge Leading the provision of care in the absence of the named consultant Preparation of tribunal/hospital managers reports and attending the hearing if agreed by the consultant or in consultant’s absence Participation in Clinical Governance processes of the hospital including medicines management meetings Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing by a further 2 days after 5 years of service) Opportunities to develop and progress in a wide variety of care Free Parking on site Supplemented meals on duty Enhanced maternity pay Comprehensive induction and commitment to ongoing training Online benefits and cashback rewards Cycle to work scheme Contributory pension scheme Refer a friend bonuses Long service awards Minimum Requirements: Current GMC registration with license to practice Clinical skills and competencies consistent with a minimum of two years' experience in psychiatry Section 12 approval Experience of working in inpatient psychiatric settings Interested?
