The Role:

We are seeking a versatile and dedicated General Cover Teacher to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality cover teaching across various subjects, ensuring that students continue to receive engaging and effective lessons during staff absences. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in a range of subjects as required. Follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines provided by absent teachers. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and productive learning atmosphere. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching and learning. Support the school's ethos and values, contributing to the overall development of students. Qualifications: A degree in Education or a related field. Teaching qualification and experience in a secondary school setting. Strong subject knowledge across a range of subjects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. Flexibility and adaptability to teach various subjects as required. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational trends and technologies.
