As a General Manager within the aviation sector you will provide expertise to the customer in the field of supply chain, management services, operations and continuous improvement. The size and scale of this opportunity is massive. You will not only take ownership for our operations but also improve employment engagement, influence change, recognise areas for improvement and identify new opportunities. You will also work closely with our Customer Team, Operations Director, Finance Department, HR, Airport Compliance Team, Airport Security Team and Trade Union. We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include: Responsible for day to day operation and stakeholder management. Provide leadership for our operation, assess potential, develop talent and succession planning. Proactively and professionally manage client relationships, delivering superior customer satisfaction at all times. Develop effective plans for business improvement activities and development of the customer account. You won't find another job like the one you'll find with DHL Supply Chain. Now, here's what we need from you: Proven track record of managing complex operations. Customer Management experience at senior level. Previous experience of succession planning and team development. Experience of building and maintaining relationships with Trade Union. Previous experience within the aviation sector would be an advantage but not essential.
