The Role

We have a position available for an experienced General Manager to head up a well-established division within The Briggs Group on a full-time and permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

Managing successful, long-term contracts to safely operate marine and other petrochemical terminals within the UK. Fostering collaborative working with clients and Briggs' own management teams to maintain and continuously improve good working relationships and practices. Management of company team managers remotely. Ensuring that training and team and individual performance and succession planning is delivered effectively throughout the organisation and to the highest of standards. Ownership of P&L across multiple sites, including delegation and governance of budgets to Briggs Colleagues. Derive, develop, and deliver reporting on business performance. Proactively seeking out potential new business within and adjacent to the petrochemical sector to grow the business. Candidates must be able to travel across the UK to visit sites.
