With A1 levels of service and a menu which is gaining a fantastic reputation produced by the newly appointed award-winning head chef, this is a fantastic position for the right, forward-thinking experienced General Manager. We are looking to recruit a forward-thinking, ambitious general manager for this independent group, which is small enough to still feel independent but big enough to have market-leading central support and systems already in place, giving the successful applicant the platform to really shine in this stunning venue. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: Experience working in a busy fresh food-led operation, be it gastro pub, hotel, restaurant, or events venue. Proven experience managing & developing a team of 10-15 front-of-house staff. Experience delivering a 1 st
class hospitality & service experience in a busy, hands-on venue. 1 st
rate understanding of back of house systems, costings, stock, labour, and financial controls. A professional and confident demeanour is essential, as is the ability to show the company ethos & high standards every day in service & management. Understanding of the latest H&S guidelines and procedures. Experience working in a similarly sized venue, and within a management structure that sees the GM working alongside the head chef to deliver a 1 st
rate hospitality service at all times. In return, our clients are offering an attractive package, with a salary up to £35,000 with great tronk payments, meals on duty, pension scheme, and proven progression through the company.
