Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced

General Manager

to take charge of their Enniskillen Sawmilling operations. We are seeking an inspiring General Manager to drive operational excellence and lead a dynamic team of over 220 employees. You will oversee Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) activities. Location: Enniskillen, Northern Ireland Role: Full-time | Senior Leadership As General Manager, you will: Lead Operations: Oversee engineering, production, maintenance, and SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) activities, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.

Drive Innovation: Spearhead automation, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Champion Safety: Foster a safety-first culture with robust policies and practices.

Deliver Results: Manage budgets, KPIs, and capital investment projects to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Inspire Teams: Mentor and develop your team, building a high-performance culture that thrives on excellence.

What You Bring: Proven Leadership: At least 5 years in senior leadership roles within heavy industry or manufacturing.

Strategic Vision: Experience driving operational efficiency and integrating advanced technologies.

People Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in lean principles, financial analysis, and project management.

Qualifications: A degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field; Lean certification is a plus.
