This well-loved venue is looking for a General Manager to work with other leaders to successfully bring to life much-loved events as well as generating and bringing to life new and bigger event ideas for the whole family. Events can range from (Apply online only) people, so the General Manager will have experience in managing all aspects of events.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the General Manager role:

With support of the wider team, lead and organise events from start to finish within budget. Manage casual staff throughout events. Monitor Health & Safety, making sure that the site is compliant at all times. Produce fun-filled events for the whole family.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

You will have previous management experience and enjoy being hands-on with the team. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders daily. Ability to manage budgets, staffing levels, and all associated costs to maximise profits.

My client is offering an annual salary of up to £38,000 depending on experience.

As the site is open 7 days a week, you will be happy to work a 5 in 7 schedule with fortnightly weekend work. However, as the venue is aimed at family events, they rarely host events in the evening.
