Could you be our General Manager in Plymouth we’re looking for at Alstom? Your future role Take on a new challenge in Plymouth and apply your Management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Site Tenders and Projects Director and work alongside a dedicated and passionate Services team in Alstom UK&I. You’ll be the Primary Project Interface to the Core Team/Customer's Operations team(s) and Core Team/Project lead. We’ll look to you for the following: The day-to-day delivery of the Contractual Obligations to the Customer. The Leadership and Direction of the Projects team(s). Project strategy leader and Key Customer Lead. The P&L of the Project and its associated EAC Position including ROP. Provide appropriate Project Performance Reporting at Project Reviews, Customer(s) Reviews and Governance Meetings (MPR, GPR/FPR, Critical Project Reviews) utilising appropriate tools. Managing the customer(s) interface on a day-to-day basis ensuring delivery to contract requirements and driving customer satisfaction. Site Management - Responsible for Alstom site and staff management, Quality, EHS processes in order to achieve and maintain a safe and efficient working environment. The Leadership and Direction of an on-site team and functions including managing individual Performance & Development, Succession Planning using the appropriate Alstom tools (ALPS/APSYS). Ensuring the successful delivery of the Technical Services and Spares Supply Agreement (TSSSA) to Great Western Railway (GWR) within budget to meet the end customer needs. Ensuring that Customer/Supplier relations, communication and performance are maximised, both internally and externally, whilst ensuring the delivery of risks and opportunities/savings to enhance Alstom's margin and positioning with the Customer. Proven Track Record in continuous improvement and cost down delivery. Experience in QHSE site based requirements. Strong Contract and Commercial knowledge.
