Your new role This role will support the development of the Operations strategy and manage warehousing KPIs, ensuring productivity, accuracy, service levels, and unit costs stay within budget. The role involves supporting customer accounts, driving organic growth, and collaborating with transport to meet dispatch times. You will work with the BD team to secure new business and achieve annual targets, deliver the annual warehouse budget (EBITDA), and drive Health and Safety initiatives. Additionally, you will manage sustainability efforts, recruit and develop site managers, and provide a 3-year strategic plan focusing on innovation, continuous improvement, and integration with other departments.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need to display excellent operational skills in warehousing, both manual and automation. You will need to have experience of successful leadership of a large operational management team as well as management and ownership of H&S. An in-depth knowledge of supply chain solutions, financials, P&L, and balance sheets is essential. The role will involve various CI and projects, so exposure to that will be advantageous. Other desirable requirements are a degree or equivalent and logistics/supply chain qualifications.
