General Manager Luxury Residential Facility for Older Adults Our client seeks a dynamic, customer-focused leader to manage a high-end private living facility dedicated to promoting independent, fulfilling lifestyles for its residents. This exclusive residence comprises 16 luxury apartments and offers exceptional amenities, including an on-site exercise facility, a fine dining restaurant, and a professional hair salon. The General Manager will oversee a team of 15 staff and ensure the smooth running of this elegant establishment, providing an outstanding experience for residents and their families. Responsibilities Leadership & Team Inspiration: Lead by example to inspire and motivate the team to deliver excellence in every aspect of service and care. Cultivate a positive, collaborative environment where staff feel empowered to excel. Resident Advocacy & Family Engagement: Act as a trusted advocate for residents, building meaningful relationships and creating a warm, inclusive community. Foster strong, proactive communication with families, ensuring their concerns and feedback are addressed promptly and effectively. Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, including governance, policy compliance, and occupancy management, ensuring every apartment is utilized to its fullest potential. Maintain a high standard of service delivery, ensuring all aspects of the facility meet luxury hospitality expectations. Quality Care & Enrichment: Support residents independence and well-being, organizing engaging activities and outings that enhance their quality of life. Collaborate with staff to ensure residents receive the highest level of care tailored to their needs. Guest-Centric Approach: Deliver a luxury hotel experience, ensuring satisfaction for residents and their families by providing personalized, attentive service. Program & Activity Management: Plan and oversee a variety of enriching experiences, including group outings, events, and activities that contribute to a vibrant, active community. Role Details Schedule: Monday to Friday, with one weekend day a month. Predominantly office hours. Salary: £40,000-45,000 (Full-time). Ideal Candidate: A personable, empathetic leader with a heart for people and a commitment to creating a supportive, fulfilling environment. Prior healthcare experience is not required. Team Management: Supervise and guide a team of 15, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
