The General Manager will be working for a fast-growing retail business headquartered in Manchester looking to grow its traditional retail and ecommerce operations.
Job Description
Oversee the daily operations of the logistics department.
Drive the development and implementation of strategic plans.
Manage budgets and introduce metrics to drive the operations side of the business.
Ensure compliance with regulations and advise the business on supply chain best practices.
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing logistics team.
Collaborate with other departments to optimise processes.
Report on operational performance and suggest improvements.
Stay informed about industry standards and implement improvements for the business.
The Successful Applicant
A successful General Manager will have:
Working experience as a leader within the logistics sector.
Ecommerce and/or retail industry experience is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of introducing logistics and supply chain processes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
What's on Offer
A competitive salary in the region of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
