General Manager – “Large Leisure Venue”

£55,000 + Bonus The General Manager will ensure that the venue, services, and areas meet the requirements of the company operating standards and customers. You will be accountable for maintaining membership levels of capacity while driving associated secondary spends, particularly in casual food and beverage. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring all resources are deployed in an efficient, cost-effective, and safe manner within your area. You will work alongside other area support managers to drive success and profits. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire venue operations and all associated areas within the leisure venue, including hospitality, kitchen, stores, back of house, bars/events, and vending when applicable. Maintain a high level of communication with members to drive membership and retention. Ensure a good understanding of online CRMs and train your teams accordingly. Manage the ordering, storage, production, and service of all food and beverages, vending, light equipment, disposable and cleaning materials, ensuring compliance with company standards. Ensure all marketing and promotions are displayed in line with company requests and the marketing planner. Collaborate actively with the Head of Sales and the marketing team to focus on S&M priorities. Manage Infusionsoft as a performance tool, including reviewing Net Promoter Score comments daily and contacting ‘detractors’ within 48 hours to resolve customer feedback. Take full responsibility for the strategic positioning and development of the business, including quarterly competitive marketing analysis to clearly define business plans and priorities for the Operations Director. Oversee the recruitment, induction, and organization of the management team. Conduct training appraisals and address any disciplinary issues that may arise.
