Models and facilitates training for all new menu items and changes in standards for the restaurant. Writes schedules for management team and approves department schedules. Coaches managers and teammates on operational excellence, maintenance, and facilities. Motivates managers and teammates to improve performance. Delivers positive and constructive performance feedback to managers and teammates; aligns with the Director and HR on appropriate progressive disciplinary action when teammates are not meeting performance standards. Develops leadership skills in self and teammates. Financial Performance
Establishes plans, communicates strategy to Director and Management Staff, and measures specific goals to achieve Company accepted inventory level, sales growth, and guest satisfaction. Forecasts accurate labor percentages weekly. Maintains budget for restaurant and ensures profitability. Communicates areas of performance needing improvement to meet business plan goals. Reviews sales and trends and initiates programs to grow the business. Conducts a wide variety of administrative duties in support of restaurant operations as it pertains to managers and teammates and in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Requirements Previous General Manager Experience (Experience must be in a full service restaurant with full bar). Computer knowledge (Excel, Windows, POS, etc.). Results driven, trustworthy and team oriented. Ability to engage and develop team members and coach in adherence to our company policies. Must be passionate about the hospitality industry and focused on creating amazing guest and employee experiences. Must be able to stand for 10 hours and lift 50 lbs. Proven knowledge and results with growing a team and cultivating talent as well as business acumen and knowledge with managing multi-million dollar restaurant business.
