The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the operations of Calldene, with a particular focus on overseeing Dover Trussed Roof Company based in Shelvin, Canterbury. This is a unique opportunity to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and lead a highly skilled team connected to two well-established and respected companies. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage day-to-day operations across Calldene and Dover Trussed Roof Company. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability. Oversee production, supply chain, and quality assurance to ensure the delivery of high-quality timber products. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability, and where appropriate develop the product range offering. Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation effectively. Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing guidance and development opportunities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. About You The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in a senior production role, preferably within the timber engineering or manufacturing industry. Strong operational and financial management skills. Exceptional leadership and people management capabilities. A strategic mindset with a results-driven approach.
