Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. To Lead our team in the UK we are looking for a: General Manager, United Kingdom & Canada

The General Manager UK and Canada is key to building and maintaining successful commercial country operations, making Optune available to patients with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) and new indications. The GM is the main face to the customer with a high field presence and leads commercial country organizations in UK and Canada. The GM is responsible for the end-to-end P&L performance for the countries inclusive of commercial, marketing, medical operations, market access and patient experience.

Your responsibilities: Leadership

Full responsibility for UK Companies House as Managing Director

Legally responsible for running the company and making sure information is sent to Companies House on time

Lead the development of Novocure's business in the countries, establishing growth Foster an environment of strong collaboration across the local and regional organization, balancing the needs in the region with those of the broader corporate objectives. Ensure the teams are working in a cross-functional approach aligned behind core strategic priorities. As a member of the Leadership Team for EMEA, jointly responsible for establishing the objectives, culture and processes for the region. Drive a high performance culture by fostering innovation, customer focus, personal accountability and commitment for results. Be a strong and visible leader in the importance of good business conduct Input to the regional, cross-functional strategic plan for Optune in GBM (and follow on indications). Develop business plans for the countries to deliver on corporate objectives. Forecasting and clearly articulating risks and opportunities Leadership or/and contribution to specific EMEA or global projects. Ensuring EMEA and global leadership are aware of significant external events that may affect our plans and make recommendations. Operational

Responsible for the end-to-end P&L performance, inclusive of commercial, marketing, medical operations, market access and patient experience in the respective country, meeting or exceeding agreed objectives. Extensive travel (50%) to create a competent prescriber base, supporting by the Commercial team. Establish relevant processes in the region to ensure that all business activities are in line with company policies, procedures, local guidelines and legislation. Ensure all governance processes are in place and fulfill the respective requirements (SOX, TUV etc.). Lead, develop and retain talented people to deliver the plan. Ensure sharing and implementation of best practice within the region. Facilitate market learning and knowledge sharing to accelerate the commercialization of Optune.

Your profile: Qualifications

Experienced in pharma or medical devices within the UK and Ireland Leadership experience across marketing, sales and cross functional teams (leader of leaders) Recent track record of successfully being part of specialty product launches in the UK, ideally encompassing orphan disease (specific knowledge of oncology is highly preferred) Experience in dealing with external stakeholders, in particular payers (e.g. NICE, private insurers), private hospitals and patient advocacy organizations. Knowledge:

Success in market shaping activities to establish the unmet need in a disease area. An authentic commitment to working closely with the patient community.
