Our clients who operate this premium city centre bar & restaurant venue are recruiting a general manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the various bars in this creative venue, heading up a team of 25 front of house staff. This position will suit a creative manager with real bar, cocktail, wine, and A1 service experience. You will have great support in place and will certainly learn here.
As General Manager you will:
Have experience working in a busy bar operation, overseeing teams of up to 25 front of house staff
Deliver a 1st class hospitality & service experience in a busy, hands-on venue
Possess a 1st rate understanding of back of house systems, costings, stock, labour, and financial controls
Exhibit a professional and confident demeanor, showing the company ethos & high standards every day in service & management
Understand the latest health & safety guidelines and procedures
Have experience working in a similar sized venue, and within a ‘hands-on’ management structure
Maintain a friendly yet professional persona
Be a strong leader, able to enthuse those around you
Lead by example to ensure your high standards filter through the front of house team
Control staff management and training along with ordering and stock control
Have the ability to self-manage and adapt to changing situations
