Key Responsibilities Providing a professional, polite, and highly efficient Front of House Service to staff, patients, and visitors on a daily basis. Dealing with telephone enquiries and assisting callers to the relevant department. Daily Cashiering Duties: Receipting on to NEP, taking in, receipting, and processing Charitable Funds, Petty Cash & Travel Reimbursements. Sorting and transacting of External & GP Surgery Mail. Ensuring post is sent out correctly and confidentially to the deadlines specified. Take Interpreter and British Sign Language (BSL) Bookings for all Mid Yorkshire Hospital NHS Trust Services, including Community Services. The review and coding of Interpretation invoices. Providing training and guidance to the General Office Assistants. Answer car parking queries, process new applications and renewal requests. Assist with the cancellation of permits, and updating ESR Statuses. Demonstrate good communication skills and working relationships with all staff working within the Department and the wider hospital environment. To plan, prioritise, organise and manage own workload and to have the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, which will regularly involve changing from one activity to another. To work as part of a team and to be responsible for ensuring all incoming work is prioritised and handled within appropriate timescales, seeking advice where necessary. Taking booking requests for Trust Meeting Rooms & Main Atriums. Maintaining the diaries that correspond to the respective requests. Ensuring that all outgoing material reflects a high standard according to the corporate style. Entering information onto relevant computer systems / databases. To undertake any other duties that may be reasonably requested to facilitate the smooth running of the Trust ensuring confidentiality is upheld at all times. Person Specification

Skills and Abilities

Experience of working with filing systems. Experience of good customer or patient care. Work with IT Systems, including Microsoft Packages such as: Word / Excel / Outlook / Access. Trust Software Systems NEP & eCamis. Previous experience in an administrative role. Experience of working within a related area e.g. Health/Social Care Setting. A willingness to learn NHS computer software systems. Experience of working with confidential material. Other
