General Operator - Green Mill
Based BSW Dalbeattie, DG5 4PL
We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our workforce within our Green Mill operations at BSW Timber, Dalbeattie. As a Production Operator, you will contribute towards the creation of quality timber products – on time and to specification.
Responsibilities of a General Operator include:
Manual handling of timber.
Operating state of the art sawmilling machinery.
Working towards set production targets.
Upholding the appropriate Health & Safety practices.
About you: As a motivated and hardworking individual, you are focused and have keen attention to detail. You understand that quality is important within this role and a degree of flexibility is required to ensure operations are maximised, maintained and quality targets are met with minimum wastage. In addition, you will have:
A committed, motivated and enthusiastic approach.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
