This is an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our clinical team. Any number of sessions considered including job share. Crawcrook Medical Centre is a growing Practice of 20,500 patients. We have well-managed branch surgeries at Rowlands Gill Medical Centre, Grange Road Medical Practice, and Blaydon GP Led Practice. Our clinical team has bi-weekly clinical meetings and meets regularly during coffee breaks to support each other. We have excellent support from a wider team including physios, counsellors (adult and children), health and well-being coaches, care navigators, and community link workers, as well as a document management team who processes all incoming letters supported by the Medicine Management Team who action any medication requests and deal with queries. Our sessional rate is based on full-time hours over 4 days. Job Summary

Each session includes the following: 14 face-to-face 15 min appointments and completion of related clinical administration. Fair share of visits when required (normally completed by Nurse Practitioners). Fair share of bloods, tasks, and medical reports (part-completed by non-clinical staff). Assisting in the completion of the urgent clinical task group and routine clinical task group. Other reasonable duties as required. Main Duties of the Job

Provide high-quality patient care. Provide face-to-face and telephone consultations as required. Effectively utilise in-house and external services when needed. Complete all clinical administration work related to patients seen. Work collaboratively and contribute to the management and completion of general clinical administration, including bloods, tasks, urgent enquiries, medical reports, for example. Attend and contribute to clinical practice meetings as required. Ensure that each patient encounter is maximised to attain contractual target requirements. About Us

The Fuller and Forbes Partnership is a primary care provider with practices currently in Leeds, Burnley, Gateshead, and Devon. The organisation provides care to 56,000 patients using a diversified clinical team consisting of on-the-ground paramedics, ANPs, ACPs, Clinical Pharmacists, and a nursing team, with clinical supervision and mentorship by GPs. The organisation is patient-driven and has used patient feedback in the past to develop innovative services such as a bespoke smartphone app, patient-centred practice websites, joint working with the third sector, and a bespoke e-consultation service. The e-consultation service is accessible through both the smartphone app and website and has provided over 33,000 e-consultations in the last 2 years. The organisation currently receives around 70-100 e-consults per day across all sites. Job Responsibilities

Utilisation of EMIS clinical system. Consult with patients face-to-face and by telephone as required. Undertake home visits when required, supported by the Rapid Response Team. Prescribe, refer, treat, and advise patients as required. Respond to clinical queries from the wider team. Contribute to completion of the clinical task group. Fair share of clinical administration, including tasks, bloods, and other general duties. Complete medical reports as and when required (shared out across the team). Provide support to the wider clinical team including being available to our highly experienced ANPs when required. Other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time. Qualifications

Full registration with GMC. Completion of GP vocational training. Experience

Experience of using EMIS clinical system. Experience or interest in training other trainee GPs and trainee practitioners. Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. £11,875 a session, 6 sessions available, Thursday and Friday are non-negotiable.
