We have an exciting opportunity for aGeneral Practitionerto join ourPrimary Careteam atHMP Eastwood Park, a female prison based in South Gloucestershire. The site is located close to the M5 for commuters and is easily accessible from both Bristol and Gloucester. HMP Eastwood Park houses around 442 patients aged 18-76. This role would suit a General Practitioner who is interested in delivering end to end care and has a particular interest in either long term conditions, sexual health or substance misuse. Friday 8am-9pm covering 3 sessions/ 12 hours Salary For this part time role,youll receive an annual salary up to £125,000per annum FTE - depending on experience. How will we support you? As aGeneral Practitioneryour responsibilities will vary. MBChB or MBBS Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice Evidence of continuing professional development Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
