Teacher

to work in an alternative provision based in Newcastle. This role involves teaching a variety of subjects to children from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have QTS, experience working with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles and levels. The school is committed to supporting the academic and personal growth of its students and believes in unlocking their full potential. The standard working hours for this long-term position are Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 16:30 Requirements for the Role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to obtain one Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects to students with varying behavioural and learning needs Skill in planning, delivering, and assessing tailored lessons that meet individual student needs Strong communication skills to collaborate with teaching assistants and other professionals, ensuring a holistic support system for students Ability to maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEMH needs What Leader Education Offers: Competitive pay rates A refer-a-friend bonus scheme (£100 per referral, terms apply) Free mandatory training A dedicated consultant for ongoing support and guidance The potential for a permanent contract after a qualifying period Interested candidates are invited to submit a comprehensive CV outlining their teaching experience, qualifications which are relevant to this role.
