As a Generator Engineer, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring our electrical equipment is maintained to the highest standards. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, providing the opportunity to develop your technical skills, engage in continuous training, and tackle new challenges daily.

What you'll do: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on generators and a variety of other equipment. Installation and testing of generator sets to applications. Deliver outstanding technical support and customer service to our clients. Diagnose faults and conduct preventative maintenance. Conduct on-site servicing and repairs throughout Ireland, including event setup. Ensure all job and service records are completed accurately and promptly. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety procedures.

What you'll need: Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, particularly with electrical faults. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. Relevant electrical/electronic qualification and extensive electrical knowledge. Mechanical skills, with experience in hydraulics and mechanics. Level 3 mechanical qualification is a plus. Previous experience as an industrial electrician or working with generators. Previous experience in control panel building. Full driving licence.

Hours of work:

Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5pm & Friday 7:30am - 4pm (please note, an on-call rota will be in place, and out-of-hours support may be required)
