We are currently seeking an experienced
Generator Engineer
to join our client covering North London. Generator Service Engineer £32,000 to £42,000 per annum + overtime pay + door-to-door paid as overtime Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Permanent This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business within the energy efficiency sector. The role involves planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, averaging 2 to 3 call-outs per day, with a 3-week schedule provided by the Scheduling team. There is no on-call rota; it is your choice whether to take on out-of-hours jobs. Occasional working away may be required. 25 days' holiday + 8 bank holidays Company van and fuel card (can be used for personal use, but mileage must be declared to HMRC) Staying away allowance + company credit card with a limited monthly allowance Company pension Regular team-building events Two staff events per year Specialist tools provided (basic tools required to be supplied by you) What will the Generator Engineer be doing? PPM, remedial and reactive maintenance, scheduled 3 weeks in advance Servicing a range of generators from 10kVA to 2MVA Call-outs occasionally required, with £250 call-out bonus + time-and-a-half pay if attended Attending 2 to 3 call-outs per day What are we looking for in the Generator Engineer? Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience as a generator service engineer or similar Strong electrical engineering knowledge of LV power generation and distribution Practical knowledge of ComAp/Deep Sea systems IT literacy Does this sound like your next role?
