Stantec's Ground Engineering team works closely with our clients to develop innovative, sustainable, and efficient solutions to their needs. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Geo-environmental Consultant to join our Ground Assessment team to work across our Energy Sector.

You will become an important part of our ground engineering team, providing highly specialised expertise to internal and external clients. You will support the delivery of a wide portfolio of projects in the Energy sector and collaborate and work closely with our multidisciplinary engineering and design teams while providing support and advice to the contractors we are working with.

You will conduct site investigations and prepare interpretive ground investigation reports. You will analyze data and interpret geological and environmental information.

This position offers the right person an excellent opportunity to take up a key role in a strong, growing, collaborative team in delivering high-quality services, providing superior client service, and developing new business.

About You

You will hold a degree qualified in an earth science, relevant environmental or engineering discipline and will be a chartered member of a relevant professional institution or actively working towards chartership.

You will have experience preparing desk studies and ground investigation reports for proposed construction works, assessing soil quality to assess human and environmental risk, and to assess for potential reuse and/or disposal options. You will have experience conducting and (preferably) managing ground investigations.
