Up To £1000 per week About the role Connex Education is working with a Secondary School in County Durham who are recruiting for a qualified Geography Teacher to work full-time during term time. About the school The school is very popular within the Durham area with a supportive SLT who are currently looking for someone who shares their passion for education to carry out Geography lessons for key stages 3 and 4. The school offers a friendly atmosphere with a motivated team of teachers focused on student progress. They are looking for a Geography Teacher who is hardworking, resilient, and who wants to make a difference to pupils' education. The right candidate will be able to confidently step into the department and continue teaching the existing schemes of work. Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). PGCE in Geography or related subject from a recognized provider. You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one. Have experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school setting. Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Geography lessons across ability ranges. Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
