Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Geography Teacher to join our team in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Geography to students of all levels and backgrounds.

Job Duties:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives

Required Qualifications:

PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Masters in Geography or related field

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent subject knowledge in Geography Resilience and ability to adapt to different teaching challenges Effective behaviour management techniques Patience and empathy towards students

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or inclusive education

Working Conditions:

The Geography Teacher role is full-time, and the successful candidate will work on a daily rate basis. The working hours are standard school hours, with additional time required for lesson planning and assessment. The school offers a supportive and collaborative environment for professional growth and development.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
