Smile Education is working with a dynamic secondary school in Coventry to recruit a passionate and committed Geography teacher to join their team as soon as possible. If you’re enthusiastic about inspiring students and delivering engaging lessons, we’d love to hear from you. As a Secondary School Geography teacher, your role will involve delivering high-quality lessons that ignite students’ interest in geography and the environment. You will support pupils across a range of abilities, ensuring they make progress and stay motivated. Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to inspire curiosity about the world are essential. You will join a supportive and professional team that will work with you to help you excel in your role. The successful candidate must have:

A degree in Geography, Education, or a related subject. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine enthusiasm for teaching Geography and helping students succeed. Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum. Supporting students’ understanding of geographical concepts and skills. Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment. Adapting lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners. Monitoring and assessing students’ progress to inform future planning. Reporting any safeguarding concerns and maintaining a safe classroom environment.
