Are you a geography teacher looking for your next role? A secondary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a full-time ‘Geography Teacher’ from January. The ‘Geography Teacher’ will be required to teach from KS3 to KS5, so previous experience of teaching geography at secondary level is required. This is a permanent role, but the school is also open to taking a teacher on a fixed-term basis. Geography Teacher Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in geography.
Develop creative and stimulating teaching materials.
Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
Support and encourage student participation and critical thinking.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support when needed.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall school curriculum.
Geography Teacher Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching geography at secondary level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for education and commitment to student success.
£30,000 - £55,000 per year PAYE - based on experience
