Zest Education are seeking an experienced Teacher of Geography to join a secondary school in the Dudley area. This is a full-time role where planning and marking of KS3 and KS4 lessons are required. The role is due to commence in January 2025 and will run for a minimum of one term, with possibility of further extension.
Responsibilities: Teaching Geography up to Key Stage 4 level Planning and delivering engaging lessons Assessing students' work and providing constructive feedback Marking students' assignments and exams Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Geography or a related field Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and motivate students Strong organisational skills for lesson planning and marking Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment Commitment to continuous professional development
