Prospero Teaching is looking for an inspiring and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in North London (N15) starting in January 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to foster a love for Geography and support students in reaching their full potential.
Position: Geography Teacher
· Start Date: January 2024 · Salary Range: M1 - M6 on the teacher pay scale (dependent on experience) · Contract: Full-time, long-term placement
About the Role: The successful candidate will:
· Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and dynamic lessons. · Inspire curiosity and a deeper understanding of the world through a broad Geography curriculum. · Contribute to the development of high-quality teaching materials and schemes of work. · Be a positive role model, fostering a culture of respect and enthusiasm for learning.
Requirements:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent · Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography · Ability to plan and deliver lessons that cater to students of varying abilities · Previous teaching experience is desirable, but NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply
