Salary: Paid to scale Hours: Full-time Contract: Permanent Location: Bristol Secondary School
What this school are looking for:
Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic, engaging, and passionate about teaching young people Geography. Relevant experience teaching 11 - 16 year-olds within the last 2 years. A professional manner and a flexible attitude to working and timetable changes. Strong behaviour management and the ability to implement schools' behaviour polices is also essential. Deliver engaging and creative history lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply. Bachelor's degree in Geography or Humanities related field. Recent experience teaching Geography or Humanities at secondary school level. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one. What you'll need to succeed: Strong behaviour/classroom management. Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff. The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
