We have a fantastic opportunity for a Geography Teacher to join a top-performing school in Harrow, North West London, starting in January 2025!

This is a full-time role until August 2025, with the potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate. As a Geography Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing students' understanding of the world around them, preparing them for future academic and career success.

Encouraging students to develop a deep understanding of geographical concepts, while providing them with the skills to think critically about the world.

Planning exciting, dynamic lessons that bring geography to life, integrating the latest teaching methods and technology.

Assessing and supporting students' progress, ensuring they are fully prepared for exams and beyond.

Collaborating with a dedicated team of Geography Teachers to ensure a stimulating and challenging curriculum.

We are looking for a Geography Teacher who:

Holds a recognised Teaching Qualification (QTS or equivalent).

Demonstrates a genuine passion for Geography and a desire to inspire students.

Is dedicated to fostering excellent student behaviour and creating a positive, focused learning environment.

Has the ability to engage students and make Geography exciting, relevant, and accessible to all.

Is committed to helping students achieve their full potential and develop a love for lifelong learning.

Experience in teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is desirable but not essential.

Why join us as a Geography Teacher?

Outstanding student behaviour: Our students consistently demonstrate exemplary behaviour and are motivated to succeed, both academically and personally.

A highly supportive and collaborative environment, with a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

Outstanding academic achievement: We are proud of our recent exam results:

GCSE Results: 85% of students achieved grades 9-4 in Geography.

A-Level Results: 75% of students achieved A*-C in Geography, with many going on to top universities.

An Outstanding school, as confirmed by our most recent Ofsted inspection, where we received praise for our "outstanding progress," "exceptional support for spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development," and "exemplary behaviour" of students.

A school that values personal development, offering a wide range of pastoral and extra-curricular opportunities to support students' well-being and growth.

The chance to teach in a popular and oversubscribed school with a culture of high academic standards and personal achievement.

Competitive salary and the potential for career progression, with professional development opportunities available.

If you are a Geography Teacher who is eager to make a difference and be part of a school with high standards and a clear focus on success, we would love to hear from you!
