About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive partner secondary school in Luton as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of geographers and help students develop a deep understanding of the world around them. As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. You will foster a love for the subject, encourage critical thinking, and support students in achieving their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver dynamic and effective lessons in Geography, following the national curriculum. Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students. Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to support their development. Contribute to the broader school community through extracurricular activities, department collaboration, and school events. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and respect. Work closely with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to support student welfare and academic success.

About You:

A qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject. Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable). A passion for Geography and a genuine interest in helping students succeed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the school.
