Simply Education are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography teacher to join a dedicated team of educators within a successful grammar school in Medway. The school is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography lessons that engage and inspire students, promoting a deep understanding of the subject.

The successful Geography teacher will join a friendly team of highly valued and qualified teachers and support staff. The school's ethos and values aim to support students with their learning by developing their potential and preparing them for their future. The school has been categorised as Good in all aspects of its Ofsted and boasts a well-resourced and organised Geography department. The position starts in September but has the potential of starting just before the summer break so that you can get settled in!

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in Geography, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of effective teaching. The ideal candidate will be innovative, enthusiastic, and dedicated to supporting students' academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering engaging and comprehensive Geography lessons. Developing and implementing a dynamic curriculum. Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback. Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning. Leading and participating in extracurricular activities related to Geography. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Desired Experience:

Proven experience teaching geography at the secondary school level. Strong knowledge of geographical concepts and teaching methodologies. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
