GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Thanet. Your role will involve teaching students about physical and human geography, fostering an appreciation for the natural world and global issues.
Key Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:
Conduct engaging and interactive Geography lessons for students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Inspire critical thinking about global and environmental challenges among students. Encourage independent research, collaboration, and a love for exploration. Regularly assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods to ensure success. Promote the importance of sustainability and individual responsibility in global citizenship.
Requirements for the Role of Geography Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Have a passion for Geography and the ability to convey this to students. Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
