Job Overview - Geography Teacher We are looking for an enthusiastic Geography Teacher who is dedicated to inspiring a love for geography and the natural world among our students. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons that cater to students of varied abilities. This Geography Teacher role requires a teacher who can foster curiosity, promote critical thinking, and guide students through topics ranging from physical landscapes to global challenges. Key Responsibilities - Geography Teacher Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (and potentially Key Stage 5 if applicable). Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement. Use a range of resources and teaching methods to support student engagement and achievement. Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and participate in departmental planning and meetings. Support students in preparing for GCSE exams, including extra help sessions as needed. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, open evenings, and extracurricular activities. Maintain accurate records of student achievement and contribute to regular reports on student progress. Qualifications and Experience - Geography Teacher Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Desirable:

Experience teaching Geography at secondary level in the UK (NQTs are welcome to apply). Strong subject knowledge with a passion for Geography and global issues. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
