About the Role:

Dunbar Education is currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Geography Teacher for a long-term role at a secondary school in Telford. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator who is eager to inspire students and foster a love of Geography in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Geography to students across various key stages.

* Promote student participation, engagement, and achievement through a variety of teaching methods and resources.

* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development and success.

* Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring all students feel motivated and valued.

* Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across the school to share best practices and enhance the curriculum.

* Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.

* Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development to ensure ongoing growth and collaboration.

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

* A degree in Geography or a related subject.

* Strong subject knowledge with a passion for Geography education.

* Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of students with diverse abilities.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* A positive, proactive approach to teaching with a commitment to student success.

* Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level is desirable.
