Will be able to show strong teaching and learning skills. Have expert knowledge of Geography curriculum at KS3 + KS4. Can plan and deliver inclusive curriculum content and deliver excellent outcomes for all learners. Show proactive commitment to further professional development, as well as CPD beyond immediate role – seeking a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience. Communicate and work effectively within your department and leadership team to ensure that underachievement is addressed quickly and effectively. Contribute to wider school community – Sports or extra-curricular activity. Be able to inspire and motivate students – both in their learning and educating in how to be a respected member of their community. Marking regularly in line with department policy and give feedback that stimulates improved learning. Can work well under pressure. Have a genuine care and respect of all students, staff and colleagues including their wellbeing and own mental health. Committed to raising standards of achievement through innovative practice. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Adhere to school behaviour policy, including systems, routines and duties.
